Art gallery VEKARTA presents in the Garden. Bauman in Moscow, a large-scale exhibition of reproductions of paintings "Claude Monet. The Magic of Water and Light."
At the exhibition “Claude Monet. Magic of Water and Light” you will see 110 scenes by the artist, which are located in more than 20 museums in 10 countries. It is difficult to imagine such a voluminous exhibition: “Lady with an Umbrella”, “Terrace at Sainte-Adresse”, “Rouen Cathedral”, “Gare Saint-Lazare”, “Haystack at Giverny”, a large collection of “Water Lilies” and much more.
All works are reproductions of paintings on canvas in the original size, thanks to which the color, texture and character of the strokes, and even the smallest traces of time that each painting has survived, are accurately conveyed. Some works reach two meters in height. All stories are provided with detailed descriptions, and you can also use the audio guide service.
The gallery regularly hosts various events: lectures on painting, art master classes, as well as group and individual excursions. All this will allow you to better learn the history of the creation of great paintings and better understand the meaning that Monet puts into his creations. You can also choose something from a large collection of souvenirs.
