Reshetnikov’s famous painting “Again Two” was brought to Vladivostok on the eve of the Eastern Economic Forum

Fyodor Reshetnikov’s picture “Again Two” was brought to Vladivostok as part of the cultural program of the Fifth Eastern Economic Forum, RIA Novosti was told in the Primorsky Picture Gallery.

"The project is called" The composition of the painting "Again deuce" is no coincidence. For many representatives of the older generation, this picture evokes memories of the school years, "said the director of the Primorsky art gallery Alena Datsenko.

She added that many from school years remember this work, which was in the inserts at the end of the school textbook, this work "entered our memory forever," like Levitan's March, Yablonskaya's Morning. According to Datsenko, this work, written in 1952, was a landmark for the art of the twentieth century.

"Again deuce" is a picture from the permanent collection of the State Tretyakov Gallery and rarely leaves it. On her way from Moscow to Vladivostok, she was accompanied by employees of the Tretyakov Gallery, who would give lectures to visitors and talk about the painting and its author.

The Fifth Eastern Economic Forum will be held September 4-6 in Vladivostok.
