In the Central House of Artists, the last antique fair and salon "Old Paper" opens - the last events before the closure of the institution in connection with the transfer of the building to the Tretyakov Gallery.
The latest antique fairs in the Central House of Artists will be held from March 5 to March 10, until the end of March the exhibition “40 years of the Central House of Artists. Nostalgia ”, on March 31 Valery Syutkin’s concert“ Good bye, my dear Muscovites! ”Will be held in the concert hall of the house. After that, the Central House of Artists on Krymsky Val will be closed and will cease to exist as an institution.
The forum participants will fill the entire CHA to the roof - as in the best of times of the Russian art market. There will be non-profit exhibitions, where collectors will show their wealth, and galleries' stands where art can be bought, a large educational program has been conceived. The Central Asian carpets-ikats, works by the Bolshoi Theater artist Fyodor Fedorovsky (1883–1955) from his grandson’s collection will be shown. In the section of private collections, unique games and fun of the XVIII – XIX centuries, pipes and cigarettes, stencils for embroidery and sewing machines, watches, fans and dresses of the XIX - early XX century will be exhibited. At the “Old Paper” salon, you can purchase books, graphics and posters; your section will be held by philocartists (collecting old postcards) and philatelists.
