An exhibition of paintings by Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera in the central exhibition hall "Manege" in Moscow on St. Valentine's Day will receive guests who came in the form of these artists for free.
"On February 14, visitors are invited to take part in the Viva la Frida flash mob and stroll through the exhibition in the form of its main characters Frida and Diego. Everyone who comes to the exhibition in the images of Frieda Kahlo and Diego Rivera can visit it for free and without a queue. Bold outfits, bright colors, multi-layered, massive ethnic accessories, flowers and ribbons will help create the desired outfit, "- said in a statement.
It is noted that the photos of the most original images will appear on the page of the exhibition organizer of the Faberge Museum on the social network "VKontakte", and their authors will receive memorable souvenirs.
The exhibition of paintings by Mexican artists of the twentieth century Frieda Kahlo and Diego Rivera has been held in the central exhibition hall Manege since December 21. The exhibition features more than 90 works by the famous couple, including works from the Dolores Olmedo Museum (Mexico), which has the world's largest collection of paintings by Kahlo and Rivera, previously not exhibited in Russia from the collection of the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts. A.S. Pushkin, paintings and drawings from private collections in Europe and Latin America.
The exhibition is complemented by a special cultural and educational program: lectures, film screenings, theatrical performances and performances.
