The State Russian Museum received as a gift from collectors more than 160 graphic works of Kazimir Malevich, RIA Novosti reported to the press service of the museum.


"This year the Russian Museum received a gift from Nina Nikolaevna Suetina, the daughter of the artist Nikolai Suetin, part of the collection of graphic artists of the Russian avant-garde, among them the works of Anna Leporskaya, Vasily Rozhdestvensky, Nikolay Suetin, Lev Yudin, Ilya Chashnik and more than 160 graphic works by Kazimir Malevich "- told the museum.


The work of Malevich is planned to be shown in a separate exhibition at the end of 2018, the rest - later.


The Russian Museum is the world's largest museum of Russian art, a unique architectural and artistic complex in the historical center of St. Petersburg. Today, the State Russian Museum celebrates its 120th anniversary.
