"The exhibition, consisting of several sections, presents 68 best pictures of the Wanderers to the public, and, which is very valuable, many of them were included in the exhibition from the permanent exposition of the Tretyakov Gallery and some from the museum's storage rooms," the press service of the Tretyakov Gallery said.


The first section begins with the works of artists of the 1860s, which preceded the creation of the Association of Traveling Art Exhibitions and its art preparing the history of peredvizhnichestva. This period is represented by the work of Illarion Pryanishnikov, Mikhail Klodt, Alexander Morozov, Konstantin Trutovsky, Vasily Pukirev.
