Valery Koshlyakov became the most expensive modern Russian artist by the version of Forbes

The Russian edition Forbes named the most expensive Russian contemporary artists. The list was headed by a native of Salsk, Rostov Region, 55-year-old Valery Koshlyakov. The volume of sales of its works in 2017 was € 147.6 thousand.


In second place - Vladimir Potapov, earned 117 thousand euros. Completes the top three artist Vitaly Pushnitsky (100 thousand euros).


The ratings also included Semen Motolyanets, Anna Zheludi, Kirill Chelushkin, Aidan Salakhova, Vladimir Dubosarsky, Sergei Bratkov, Alexey Kallima, Olga Chernysheva, Artem Filatov, Rostand Tavasiev, Pavel Peppershtein, Konstantin Latyshev, Dasha Kudinova, Grigory Orekhov, Vlad Yurashko, Evgenia Nozhkin and Vadim Fishkin.


The rating is compiled on the basis of sales of the Cosmoscow-2017 contemporary art fair and auctions held over the past two years.


Valeriy Koshlyakov was the leader of the list, the sales of which amounted to 147 thousand euros.
