The exhibition of famous Russian-American artists Ilya and Emilia Kabakov opened on Thursday the Hirschhorn Museum in Washington.

The exposition consists of 22 works, many of them have already been presented in other world cultural centers. The most famous installation is the "Ship of Tolerance".

The "Ship of Tolerance" has been around the world for a long time. During his trip, he managed to visit Venice, New York, Havana, Moscow. The presentation of this installation in Rome was conducted jointly with the Vatican and personally with the Pope of Rome.

In each of the cities where the installation was presented, the children - the immediate participants in the project - created drawings on the subject of tolerance. From the drawings we made a sail for the ship. Thus, artists with the help of art try to unite children from all over the world, instill in the child the understanding that another person is the same as he.
