"As enchanted by some wonderful dream, I wander gloomily through the halls of majestic ..." - this is about the Hermitage. Today, a virtual reality cinema will open in the treasury of world culture. The film "Diving into History" will be presented here.

The conductor through time and space will be the actor Konstantin Khabensky. Before the eyes of the audience, the whole life of the museum flashes from the time of construction to our days. In the palace halls will meet the first collector of the collection - Catherine the Great, Nicholas I, who made the Hermitage a public museum.

Mikhail Piotrovsky also became a hero of the film and acted as himself - the director of the Hermitage. Work on the script for the 19-minute tape was a whole year. According to the authors, no museum of the world created such a film project.

"A very important feature, in addition to technical, is that this film was shot under the full control of the Hermitage. Tatyana Lvovna Pashkova wrote the script, prepared everything and constantly supervised the work. Without this, there would be no film, because the Hermitage can not be a decoration for someone's films, the Hermitage must always be the protagonist of the film, "said the Director of the State Hermitage Mikhail Piotrovsky.
