The Adobe 5th Scream Contest challenges you to paint your own version of Edvard Munch’s ’The Scream’ using his original brushes that have been digitally recreated for Photoshop or Sketch.

Format should be a minimum of 300dpi for Photoshop (or 150dpi if you are using Sketch), JPG in A3. When done, publish your artwork on Behance with the tag MunchContest and specify the app you used (Photoshop or Sketch). Then, promote it on social media using the hashtag #MunchContest.

If you do not own Adobe Photoshop CC software, you can download a free 7-day trial version by clicking on the “Download Trial” button on the Adobe’s website. Sketch is a mobile app available for free download here.

The best artworks will be displayed in a special exhibition at the Munch Museum in Oslo, and the grand winner will also receive 6,000 Euro (approx. 6,830 USD), a year’s membership to Adobe Creative Cloud with 100 Stock images, an all-expenses paid trip to Oslo to see your artwork on display in the Munch Museum and an all-expenses paid trip to Adobe Max in Las Vegas in October.
