The festival of films about the art "Perform"  will open on July 4 at the Tretyakov Gallery by the premiere of the Russian film "Sergei Shchukin." Collector's Story. "

The tape tells about the Russian patron, who played a key role in the development of modernism in Russia and Western Europe. The premiere of the film will be held within the framework of the film program "Golden Age of Modernism".

In the collection of Shchukin more than 270 works of modernists of the late XIX - early XX centuries, including masterpieces of Monet, Renoir, Cezanne, Gauguin, Matisse, Picasso and many others. Today, the collection of Shchukin is estimated at more than 8.5 billion dollars.

The program "Golden Age of Modernism" will be held at three venues - in the Tretyakov Gallery, the movie center "October" and the Artplay Design Center.

The festival will open on July 4 and will last until July 30, 2017.
