The "golden branch" of the 70th Cannes Film Festival went to the Swedish film "Square" with a story about the unfortunate curator of contemporary art, which became the homage to Oleg Kulik.


The anniversary Cannes Film Festival ended on May 28. Of the 19 films that claimed the main award - the "Golden Branch", the best was recognized as the "Square" of Swedish director Ruben Estlund.


Surrealist satire on contemporary art managed to name the tape the newspaper Guardian, in The Daily Telegraph it was described as "the most insolent and paradoxical in the contest."
