15 May 2017, Monday

The St. Petersburg Museum of Street Art, located on the territory of the active Laminates Plant, opens the next season.

As in previous years, the exposition will appear completely renewed: the murals created during previous seasons will be painted over and will give way to new works.

This year, 50 artists from 12 countries were invited to participate in the exposition, and the area of the exhibition, entitled "The Holiday to Come to You," will take about 5,000 square meters. The leitmotif will be the theme of the revolution: its comprehension and will be devoted to the works of the participating authors.

Also the Museum of Street Art will be visited by the famous American photographer Marta Cooper, known as one of the main chroniclers of street art. For the exhibition, she will bring from New York a series of photographs of the rebellious graffiti of the 1970-1980s. Also in the program - excursions, master classes, public discussions and a series of performances from contemporary artists and independent theaters.

You can buy tickets on the official website of the museum. The price is 350 rubles.
