Retrospective of paintings by Kazimir Malevich will open on September 11 at the "Proa" Foundation in Buenos Aires.

 

The Argentine capital to meet with the avant-garde master for the first time. The exhibition will present 40 works by Kazimir Malevich from the collection of the State Russian Museum from the early works and finishing postsuprematizmom. Visitors will also see theatrical costumes, created by the artist, and to get acquainted with documentary materials about his life. Among the masterpieces, arrived in Buenos Aires - "Suprematism" (1915-1916), "Red Cavalry" (about 1932), the famous "Black Square", and written eight years earlier, "Red Square", and two more self-portraits garde, which you can immediately compare the "sketch of fresco painting. Artistic "Proa" Foundation, opened in 1996 in Buenos Aires, focused mainly on Latin American art of the XX century. On the roof of the museum features a terrace, offering scenic views of the flowing through the Argentine capital of Matanza River.
