British journalist Craig Williams suggested that behind the mask of graffiti artist Banksy lurks Robert Del Naja is one of the founding members of the group Massive Attack. Williams has conducted its own investigation and, inter alia, found that the street artist's drawings have appeared in places of the tour team, reports The Daily Mail.

 

According to the journalist, Banksy left the graffiti in different cities shortly before or after the concerts of Massive Attack, which took place there. He had seen ten such matches in the last 12 years.

 

Williams added that a famous artist can be one Del Tion or group of people associated with Massive Attack and traveling with a musician. "What if Banksy is not one person, not one of which all think, and several graffiti artists, painting in different places, at home and abroad? Such a huge amount of work allows it to assume," — said the journalist.

 

As reports the edition, Del Naya creates graffiti since the 1980s under the alias 3D. In addition, he admitted that a friend of Banksy.

In March, scientists from Queen Mary College, University of London offered their guesses about the identity of Banksy. They published a study that called a well-known graffiti artist, a graduate of public schools in Bristol Robin Cunningham. Now this version is considered the most likely and recognized around the world, although no one was confirmed.

 

Banksy graffiti began to appear on the streets since the early 1990-ies. Currently, his work is estimated in millions of dollars and significantly increase the value of real estate, hosting, so their damage qualifies as vandalism. Banksy's signature style is the use of stencils.
