Vladimir Soldatkin is romantic by nature.

His works seem to be woven of countless half tones and not made with a regular brush.
Working in different genres: portrait, still life, landscape, abstraction based on the experience of various art schools: realism, impressionism, avant-garde, cubism and expressionism. The artist nevertheless stays true to one and only principle – good taste and professional mastery.
Applying his own very personal methods, Vladimir achieved incredible transparency and delicacy of painting and the play of light and shade consisting of numerous hypnotizing light spots. So his works are easy to recognize.
The combination of color is faultless, elegant and emotional. “Emotional” is probably the word that characterized his painting in general. His paintings have very special charm and the attraction will leave no one indifferent.

In 1975 graduated Moscow State Pedagogical Institute, department of painting-drawing.
With 1990 he is a member of International Federation of Artists and Graphic Artists of UNESCO.
Participated in Art exhibitions in Russia and abroad.
