Му favorite artists are Diego Velasques, Alexander Ivanov, Russian impressionists. In painting I appreciate sunlight air and bright color. But most of all I rejoice at character accurate founds. My tach is to find him and to portray him so as to show an lookers this joy.

Philipp Moskvitin is an artist who develops the traditions of Moscow School painting. He has not been looking for himself in labyrinth of avant-gardism and pop-art. The traditions of Russian realistic painting were not interrupted and on a level with studding styles of old great artists it was reliable foundation for the real art’s development.
Philipp Moskvitin paints his pictures fresh and with a great inspiration. There is sunlight and a grateful coolness in the air on his pictures.

Born in 1974 in the family of an artist.
Has been into artistic activities since childhood. In 1986 entered the secondary school at the Surikov Institute, Moscow (MSAS).
Having finished MSAS was enrolled at the Russian Academy of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture (RSPSA).
