Works of great Russian artists, French painting and Chinese culture have formed Dmitri’s aesthetic principles of fine arts, harmony of colors makes a professional point of his painting. While painting a flower or a tree a Chinese artist feels like merging with nature. In this Dmitri feels a creative power.
His life might have been different if it where not for the chance that tied him with Vietnam forever Vietnam is unforgettable for its generous exotic nature and its peculiar way of life. Dmitry came in contact with this wonderful land being 17 years old and could hardly free himself from its charm.
Vietnam is the through theme of his works. Dmitri believes that Vietnam charms have never been glorified in full might.
The emotional key in Dmitri’s paintings is in keeping with characteristic features of their creator: the wish to make out a romantic theme in life.
His first, difficult but romantic, distant journey was his visit to Burjatia. Since that time trips have naturally entered into the painter’s life. In later years his fate brought him to many other countries: Bulgaria, Romania, Vietnam, Greece, Turkey, France. All that not only gave birth to the emotional response in his soul but it proved to be a powerfull creative stimulus.
But everywhere he will remain true to his first love, the roots of which are in Russia and in people to whom it gave birth. Dmitri loves Russian nature and likes working on plein-air. This is an important aspect of the artist’s creative approach to his work of art.
Dmitri’s exhibitional activities are very intensive. His numerous landscapes, portraits, nues, still-lives and genre-paintings formed a large personal exhibitions:

1995 - “Romantic Exhibition” (The Tver Pictures Gallery);
1997 - “Little Bird” (The Museum of Lisa Tchaikina);
1997 - Personal Crimea Exhibition (The Crimea Observatory);
1998 - “Dreams about Vietnam” (The Museum of Saltikov-Schedrin);
1998 - “Nights in Hanoy”;
1999 - “London Seagull” (The Tver Picture Gallery);
2000 - “Magic World” (The Library of Bogolubov in Moscow);
2000 - Personal Exhibition in the gallery “Soljanka” in Moscow;
2000 - “Not Lonely” (The Moscow Gallery “A-3”);
2001 - Exhibition in the Moscow art-cafe “Theata”;
2002 - Exibition in The Russian State Duma;
2003 - “Spring Mood” (The Gallery “Tchertanovo”);
2004 - “Further Heaven Land” (The Gallery “Expo-88”).
The exhibitions were a success, spectators loved them, the picture met good response among the spectators. A lot of works were bought into private collections of many countries of the world: Russia, China, Mexico, USA, Canada, Vietnam, Israel, Denmark, Lebanon, France, Germany.
The Creative Biography
Dmitri Pavlov was born in 1970 in city Vychuga of the Ivanovo region. His children's years there have passed.
In 1987 Dmitri travelled on the river to Volga from Kalinin (Tver) up to Astrakhan and back. Then he for the first time has felt in himself draft to painting, and, at once ambassador travel, has undertaken a canvas and paints.

Those years Dmitri has become to take a great interest in fashionable religion of east. He has visited temples in Buryatiya. Then he has got acquainted with the Vietnamese people, which lived in Kalinin. The love to Vietnamese and east culture has rendered on him huge influence.
Since 1989 Dmirti unexpectedly has taken a great interest in an orthodox Christianity and spelling of icons. He has acted to study in school on a spelling of icons Andrey Saprudnov. Till now school on a spelling of icons is his unique art education.
In 1995 Dmitri has visited the country of the dream - Vietnam. He lived there 3 months. Has lead there exhibition, much wrote and was collected of inspiration.
Dmitri willingly participates in collective exhibitions and frequently organizes personal.
With 2000 Dmitri ever more has become to carry spend exhibitions in Moscow. In 2002 a personal exhibition in State Duma of Russian Federation successfully has passed.
