"There is no death in nature! Everything lives and everything moves, everything inhales and exhales, everything changes every minute", - said the French art critic Thoré-Bürger, and one of the greatest masters of still-life once stated: "Who said one paints with colors? One employs colors, but one paints with feeling".
Looking at the paintings of Dmitri Annenkov, feel how interesting the world around the artist, with a sense of depicting every object, each the finest thing, the reflection of objects and people on the mirror surface of the object transmitting the subtle presence of a man who had just read the letter or breakfast, baby, who played in teddy bears.
In the paintings of the artist appear everyday objects, often marked with the seal of time, which makes them particularly interesting. Masterfully conveys a sense of the inner life of things, their close relationship with the atmosphere of real life. Each subject is endowed with its own character, each emphasized its structure, its material nature. Fresh white tablecloth, a ruddy crust of bread, glass and silver glitter, freshly brewed coffee, cracked glass in the window, dim lights, the wine in the glass, in the transfer of all these reasons the artist reaches more convincing.
