Opening of the exhibition Yoko Ono in Moscow is scheduled for October 2019
17 December 2018, Monday

The exhibition of Japanese artist and singer Yoko Ono - the widow of The Beatles group leader John Lennon - will be held at the Moscow Museum of Modern Art (MMOMA) in the autumn of 2019.

“The exhibition at MMOMA will reveal the main elements of Yoko Ono’s artistic practices and tell how the artist answered the question about the meaning of art and its political and social engagement. They are ephemeral works, sometimes limited by text indexes, sometimes taking the form of objects that are waiting for action from the viewer, "the documents say.

The exhibition was called The Sky is Always Clear and will run from October 1 to November 24. The exhibition will be held as part of the XIV International Festival-School of Contemporary Art "Territory".
