Art as a profitable investment: the international art fair Cosmoscow opened in Moscow
8 September 2017, Friday

In the international art calendar today's date is marked long ago. Every September, connoisseurs of contemporary art come to Moscow to take part in the international Cosmoscow fair, an art forum that brings together collectors, gallery owners and artists from around the world.

Fair is not quite an exhibition, it is called not only to watch and enjoy art, but to acquire it. Become a collector immediately, choosing at least one liked work. The choice is big - 54 stands of contemporary art from Europe, America, the Middle East and Russia.

"Here there are jobs that are available to people with different financial capabilities, say, from 500 euros to 300 thousand euros", - said the founder and director of Cosmoscow Margarita Pushkina.

But not everything is sold here, or rather, is sold, but not here - the works presented in the non-profit section can be purchased in galleries, but here - look closely. Let's say, to understand what kind of work of art brings right thoughts.

"The state, on the one hand, is a necessity that provides society with integrity, and on the other hand, sometimes we come across something that causes only shame, pain and anger," said the curator of the fair, Alexei Maslyaev.

Organizers are approaching the set goal - to establish communication between artists and representatives of the most famous international galleries, encourage and inspire young authors.
