Exhibition of Soviet agitational art of the 1920s "Art in Life" The Russian Museum devotes the 100th anniversary of the Revolution.

The exhibition presents more than 200 works of painting, graphics, arts and crafts.

In the first post-revolutionary years agitational art covered a variety of aspects of everyday life. In this direction, both avant-garde artists and academic artists worked.

"The revolution in art began long before the October Revolution. There is such a view that the avant-garde is an art born in October. In fact, these processes were an evolution in the whole world art, but the Russian revolution became a catalyst for those processes, "- said the director of the Russian Museum Vladimir Gusev.
