The first project within the framework of the cooperation of the State Tretyakov Gallery and the Republic of Tatarstan will be the exhibition "Genius of the Century", which will be held in the Kazan Kremlin and the halls of the "Hermitage-Kazan" Center from April 29 to September 26. It will show more than 80 works of the early twentieth century, including the works of Mikhail Vrubel, Natalia Goncharova, Petr Konchalovsky, Konstantin Korovin, Mikhail Larionov and Kuzma Petrov-Vodkin. Emblem and pearl of the exhibition, as the press service of the Tretyakov Gallery, will be "Princess Swan" Vrubel. Like many other works that will go to Kazan, this picture is an integral part of the permanent exposition of the museum and rarely leaves its walls, stressed in the Tretyakov Gallery.
Within the framework of the Kazan project, the department of the newest trends of the Tretyakov Gallery, in cooperation with the Prometheus Research Institute in Kazan and the Polytechnic Museum, plans to hold an exhibition dedicated to the creativity of the "light-music pioneer" Bulat Galeev (1940-2009). In 2017, it can be seen in the capital, on one of the grounds of the Tretyakov Gallery, and in Kazan. The museum noted that a serious retrospective of Galeev, who inherited the achievements of the Russian avant-garde, became possible only now, with the development of modern multimedia technologies that allow recreating a number of works on the basis of drawings by the scientist and artist, as well as realize those of his ideas that existed only on paper. Zelphira Tregulova stressed that the goal of the exhibition is not only to draw attention to the figure of the artist, but also to contribute to the creation of the museum of Bulat Galeev in Tatarstan.
The third exhibition of the project, which will be based on the most important and old part of the collection of the Tretyakov Gallery - works of Russian artists of the second half of the XIX century, is planned to be held in 2017-2018 in the spaces of the Kazan Kremlin and the Hermitage-Kazan center. "This exhibition should not look like a traditional display of the Wanderers. We want to try to look at this phenomenon in a new light, which is especially important on the eve of a big project dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Association of Traveling Art Exhibitions, which we will celebrate in 2020, "Tregulova said.
Director of the State Tretyakov Gallery specified that all the exhibitions will be accompanied by serious educational programs. "The really best team of researchers is leaving with us. Lectures are read not just by the methodologists of the educational department, but by doctors and candidates of science. Experience shows that it is after such projects that people begin to appreciate the collections of their regional museum and the collections that are in it, "said Zelfira Tregulova.
