In 2017, Russian schoolchildren received a unique chance to take part in the Festival. Within six months, the RDS will host photographic works of children in order to select the best ones whose photos will be exhibited at the All-Russian Nature Festival "Pervozdannaya Rossiya" in 2018.
The main condition - photos should be made on the territory of Russia and meet the theme of wildlife.
In September 2017, an expert jury consisting of professional photo artists and authors of past festivals will select the best 20 children's photos in five categories: Landscape, Animal World, Art and Nature, Man and Nature, "People's Choice Award".
The contest for young photographers will be launched on March 16 in St. Petersburg, in ROSPHOTO, where from March 8 until April 30, the exposition of "Primordial Russia" is opened for visitors. A number of master classes on photography will be held for schoolchildren participating in the RHS. They will be held by Sergei Kuznetsov, chairman of the St. Petersburg club of photo-hunters, and wildlife photographer Konstantin Shatenev. Konstantin Shatenev - participant of all 4 festivals "Primordial Russia". In 2015, he presented the author's project "On the Nature Paths of the North-West", which he will also talk about at the meeting. And at the exhibition this year - the project "Nature of the Leningrad region", created with colleagues from the St. Petersburg club of photo-hunters.
"Primordial Russia" is one of the most ambitious and interesting festivals of landscape, animalistic and macro photography. It runs from 2014 and attracts an increasing audience every day. The opportunity to see the unique work of photographers-naturalists is received by residents not only of Russia, but also of other countries.
