"Our Glory - Russian Power!" - an exhibition of artist Vasily Nesterenko opens in Moscow

Culture Minister Vladimir Medinsky inaugurate today the anniversary exhibition of the famous Russian artist Vasily Nesterenko, "Our Glory - Russian Power!", dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the artist and the 35th anniversary of his creative activity.

The exhibition presents the artist's works, made over the past few decades in all genres of painting. A large number of works will be exhibited for the first time to a wide audience. The exhibition, in particular, includes paintings on key moments of Russian history, especially the picture "Getting rid of the Troubles," "Death of invasion", "Moscow greets the Heroes of Poltava", "Defend Sevastopol!", "Triumph of the Russian Fleet", " We - the Russian, God is with us! ".

A retrospective anniversary exhibition will be held in Moscow Manege from 10 February to 3 March 2017. The exhibition is planned to show in St. Petersburg and other Russian cities.
