Aristarchus Lentulov - great experimenter, shocking the master and father of Russian avant-garde - believed that the world is ruled by beauty and art teaches a person to know the nature. In the Penza Art Gallery went to a gala evening dedicated to the 135th anniversary since the birth of one of the most famous artists of the XX century.
In honor of the anniversary the gallery was an unusual event. In a self-portrait Lentulova visitors staged a flash mob called "Dummy Challenge", expressing thus the attitude to the artist.
A graduate of the Penza Art College, Lentulov was behind the creation of the association "Jack of Diamonds." Painter, graphic artist, stage designer - he is known for art lovers around the world. The master's works are represented in many major museums in Russia and abroad. In Penza meeting kept 37 paintings by Russian avant-garde masters.
