The exhibition "Masterpieces of new art. Shchukin Collection" in Paris will be extended by two weeks, said the Louis Vuitton Foundation, who initiated and organized the event.


The fund statement said that the decision to postpone the closing of the exhibition from 20 February to 5 March, was made in collaboration with the St. Petersburg Hermitage Museum and Moscow's Pushkin Museum. Pushkin.

The exhibition "Masterpieces of new art. Shchukin Collection" opened in Paris on 20 October. The exhibition consists of 22 paintings by Matisse, Picasso, 29 works, 12 of Gauguin masterpieces eight - Cezanne and Monet. Just Louis Vuitton Foundation museum displays 158 works on four floors.
