Russian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday received in the Kremlin LVMH Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy CEO Bernard Arnault.

“I would like to thank you for the exhibition you organized in Paris,” Putin said and expressed regret he could not take part in the opening ceremony as his visit to France had been cancelled.

Russia’s biggest arts museums – the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts, the Tretyakov Gallery and St. Petersburg’s Hermitage Museum – organized an exhibition dedicated to the acclaimed Russian art collector of the early 20th century, Sergei Shchukin, at the Louis Vuitton Foundation in Paris.
