The new exhibition project "Russian Forum of collectors," in which 50 unique collections will be presented from different eras, from the XVIII century, opens today in the Central House of Artists and runs until 25 September.

 

Large-scale project for antiques and contemporary art experts, beginning collectors and the general public will be located in the Central House of Artists on the area of ​​10 thousand square meters.

 

Special exhibition format will allow each visitor to get unique collectibles and get a professional expert opinion on the value of existing rarities.

Curator offline Arsen Melitonyan told RIA Novosti that the presented collection will be unique and interesting to a lot of people, because the collection is ranked third among the most popular hobbies.

 

"We are holding the forum because of the country hundreds of thousands of people are passionate about collecting. A variety of collections from brands, etiquette, postcards to large objects collectibles, such as appliances and cars, it attracted a large segment of the population. These are people who preserve historic -cultural heritage and present it to society ", - said Melitonyan.

 

He stressed that Russia and major museums around the world has always started with the initiative of private collectors, but people forget that "once certain people have invested money, time, desire in the preservation and promotion of these objects." Collectors Forum is intended to demonstrate the achievements of community representatives.

 

Melitonyan proposed to pay attention to the collection of realistic painting of the Union of Artists, a collection of paintings by Igor Markin, a collection of naive art Sergey Tarabarova, the exhibition "Clothes of our ancestors Prints XVIII-XX centuries." Project Gallery classic photo "Moscow: Three era," a collection of Dmitry Suetin "Diplomas and creditable sheets from the collection of Imperial Russia" and many others.

The project is organized with the support of the RF Ministry of Culture and the Moscow government.
