The Russian Museum opens the exhibition of the works of Marc Chagall In Malaga

The exhibition devoted to the work of Marc Chagall and his Russian contemporaries, opened in the center of arts "Tabacalera" - St. Petersburg branch of the Russian Museum in Malaga on the Spanish coast.

The exhibition will present some 35 works of painting and sculpture from the collection of the Russian Museum and private collections.

A special exhibition will complement Vitebsk Chagall room, which will be recreated with the help of original objects of the time stored in the Russian Museum collection.

The exhibition "Chagall and his Russian contemporaries" will last for 6 November.

At the same time it opens the exhibition "Cervantes in Russian Art", dedicated to the 400th anniversary of the writer's death. The exhibition will feature 47 works of Russian painting and graphics XIX-XX centuries, which reflect the personality of the writer and his most famous characters: Don Quixote and Sancho Panza. In particular, the workshop will show works by artists Ilya Repin, Vera Ermolaeva, Stepan Galaktionov, Helium Korzheva.

Exhibition "Cervantes in Russian Art" will run until January 15, 2017.

The branch of the Russian Museum opened in Malaga March 25, 2015. It was planned that the branch will be held three exhibitions each year - one constant (up to nine months) and two-time (up to six months).
